Serendipity

Today I was reading a random magazine which had a few pages dedicated to humorous anecdotes from readers. Two of those short stories made me smile, so I’ve decided to post ‘em here (just in case I might need some relief from any future depressing mood).

I’m the manager at an electronics store, and ordered part number 669 at the manufacturer. When the package arrived I noticed they sent me the wrong part, namely number 699. I sent it back with an angry letter. The next day I received the new supply. It was the same package, but this time accompanied by a note reading: “Turn the box around.”
